Name:
Dustin Wahl
Date of Birth: 11/18/85
Years Riding:
" Ive been competing for three solid years
now. Two years Semi-Pro and a half of a year as a Pro."
What got you involved:
"My dad &Terry and the "Ride or get the boot
routine" - No Im just kidding, I don't think theyd
really beat me. Ha ha! There has always been that positive
encouragement from everyone. Look at dad and Terry, I'm around
it and I always have been and it's what I want to do."
First Racing Memory:
" We borrowed a sled of Andy Moyles. Man it was
so fast! I beat Mike Poach. It was fun."
Most Memorable:
"In 2002 I won three classes in Eagle River. They were
Semi-Pro Races, but just to think that I won those classes
.
Sign of good things to come."
Worst Moment:
"The worst has got to be when I was winning and almost
lapping. I crashed. It wasnt very funny. Now that I
think of it, it was, but to be winning by so much and eat
the bales. No thanks!"
" Dads accidents were rough I think. I was pretty
young. I remember though, one in particular, out east. That
was one where dad really got hurt. The only reason I think
I really remember is dad's hood was still pretty mint. That
sled lay broken in a thousand pieces and here the hood looked
new. I wont forget that."
Key to success:
"The Key to my success is my family connection. I have
my Father, my uncles, and my cousins. It's all family and
friends working to make sure were successful."
